While my heart is hurting tonight because i've had something very precious taken from me due to mean spiritedness of an ex master from 2 years past, i am also impressed by the One who took me as His just 4 months ago. Every day i am inspired and influenced by His skill and determination to create a loving and lasting relationship for U/us.
When W/we talk i often find myself contemplating about how His style is so positive, effective and dedicated to creating the balance and environment W/we need to make things work for both of U/us.
When i do something displeasing, He doesn't get frustrated, yell, throw things or ignore me for days on end. He doesn't expect me to know what i've done wrong without telling me nor does He expect me to ask the all of the right questions. He explains and directs me to do it a new way, the way He want's me to do it. He is simple and straightfoward in detail and expectation. He doesn't play stupid games. Communication is direct and simple. There's no inconsistencies to manuveur. There's no trying to guess or figure it out. He makes it so simple to follow directions and meet expectations. There isn't even a need for constant reassurance that He's going to "stick with it." i have no doubts that He is committed and i have no doubts that He is in control.
He also doesn't threaten or create fear. Infact, when i tell Him stories about my past, He explains to me why it would be wrong to let His slave get in a car, hurting and upset, that while He won't be above getting angry, He still won't send me away or allow me to get into situations that could potentially be harmful to myself. He will always look out for my safety and well being, always, and it won't all be contingent on my making Him happy at every moment.
In the two years i've been single, i've met several Men who i consider intelligent, well developed Doms. While those Men/Doms were not my Sir, they did give me a glimpse of what was possible. Thank You to them for helping me to not give up.
i've always said that a M/s relationship was symbiotic, that the Master and slave need one another, not in order to just exist we can all do that on our own, but to develop to their full potential. Now..... i would add to that analogy...that while one needs the other to thrive, it is more like how a flower that needs a bee, responsible for pollination, the plant sustains the bee, helping it grow strong and the bee helps the plant bloom into something greater than it was to begin with. It's because of the bee that the plant now reaches its full potential, it's beauty shines outward to the world and it experiences the sun of each new day as it never has before.
