What a Day!


What a day. 

The morning started with bad news about recompitition at work.

About 9:00 i got a call from my ex husband who i haven't seen or spoken to for about 6 years, asking me to take a cat that he adores (we owned together) but it is being mean to his 2 yr old daughter.  He sounded so anxious and sad and my heart broke a little bit for him...he was crying as he hung up...it was a very heart wrenching conversation.  i didn't say i'd take the cat, it never liked me, but maybe it would be the right thing to do....oh the irony!

i got another email from the Farm Bureau saying that the check i produced to show i'd paid my last bill wasn't going to cut it (i'd written the wrong year on it...ugh)...so now i have to prove that i paid and they cashed a $20.00 check back in September, so ridiculous.

Oh and let's not forget the repeated calls from and to my perscription mail company.  My Dr. faxed them perscriptions almost two weeks ago and they still don't have it sent.  After several calls from them, my returning their calls which by the way take about 20 minutes of waiting before getting through to someone each time, a call to my Dr. who returned my call the next day saying they'd called the company like I'd asked them too, to be told today by a very rude man that my Dr. obviously had lied and not made the call to them, which he then put me on hold for another 5 minutes to verify that.  He then verified that the Dr. had changed the perscription to meet their expectations, but that the Dr. STILL hadn't called...??? and would need to.  How incompetent can this company be?  They are dealing with medicine for petes sakes.  So, a call to my Dr. and I couldn't get through....(by the way this all has to occur during my work day and is taking up a lot of valuable time.) decided to wait until later in the day but with everything that happened, it got lost, so still no perscription filled......................

Then to top the day off, i went out to grab lunch and got pulled over, my sticker had expired.  Yep, i got a ticket...ugh!

i am in great need of something...any suggestions?  How about a good beating?  a nice flogging maybe, with a good thuddy flogger?  Ahhh.......
